▲Brief Introduction

      Titanium-copper composite rod is also called titanium-clad copper, which is a main part of metal anode, which is covered with a certain thickness of titanium layer on the copper rod. It combines the excellent electrical conductivity of copper with the excellent corrosion resistance of titanium. It is mainly used in electrolysis, electroplating, wet metallurgy and metal anode electrolytic tanks under strong corrosion conditions. On one hand, it uses copper as an intermediate material. The excellent electrical conductivity of the material, on the other hand, the corrosion resistance of the coating material, is a high-quality electrode. It has good electrical conductivity. The micro-resistance of the composite rod is 7.77 × 10-6Ω, which can greatly reduce the pollution of electrolyte and plating solution, save energy consumption, improve the environment, and is an energy-saving and environmentally friendly electrode material. According to user requirements, it can produce round, drum, square, flat and other composite rods of different specifications, and can also bend and group weld in different shapes.

    Performance of titanium clad copper bar

    As the main component of metal anodes, copper clad bars have the following three functions as follows,

First, to support anode. Titanium clad copper bus bars  has certain strength and bending resistance, the yield strength of the composite rod reaches 128MPa, which fully meets the production design requirements. Second. It has excellent electrical conductivity. The production process of explosion + rolling method is used to make titanium and copper fully and tightly compound without delamination, so it has good conductivity, the composite strength reaches 135Mpa, and the micro resistance is 7.77 × 10-6Ω. Third. Corrosion resistance. The outer layer of the titanium-copper composite rod is in direct contact with the electrolytic medium. The pure titanium in the outer layer has excellent corrosion resistance (see the table below), and its life is more than 10 times longer than that of other materials.  The chemical composition of copper clad bars should meet the requirements of the corresponding grades of GB / T5231, and the chemical composition of titanium should meet the requirements of the corresponding grades of GB / T15073 or GB / T3620. Ultrasonic flaw detection is used in the inspection of titanium clad copper bar inspection.

   AATi titanium clad copper bars are available in rectangle and square. Ti Clad Copper bars can be cut to length and packaged according to customer requirements.
