CE marking Radio Equipment Directive (RED) will replace the R&TTE Directive on June 13, 2017

Radio testing, EMC testing, EMR/EME testing, Safety testing

Compliance with the European R&TTE Directive and RED requires radio specific intentional transmitter/receiver testing, EMC testing, EMF (human exposure) testing and safety testing. The Official Journal lists various product family and generic standards which radio (and radio integrated) devices must comply with. Up to June 12, 2017, CE marking R&TTED harmonised standards we can test against include the following list. From June 13, 2017 only harmonised standards listed under the RED may be used. Trouble is, ETSI has not yet republished the entire suite of standards so what does one do? Call us!! EMC Technologies is a member of the RED Compliance Association along with all EU Notified Bodies. We will give you the best advice.
