Fiberglass stitch mat is made of glass fiber by randomly spreading continuous filament roving into stationary length and stitched by polyester fiber threads. It is binderless, providing fast, thorough wet-out. Used in close mold applications such as RTM, VARTM, SCRIMP. Can be pultruded when layered with other materials. Stitched construction allows for pattern or die cutting and can be pre-wet and moved for proper placement in wet lay-up open molding. Mainly suitable for various pultrusion profile, tubing, bar, panel, auto-parts, bath tubs, vehicles panel etc. The chopped strand length is 5cm or 10cm. 10cm chopped length can achieve higher strength.
